The Club is involved in various initiatives to help the the children from economically weaker sections suffering from congenital cardiac disorders who are being provided free hole-in-the-heart rectification surgery facilities in association with Fortis Hospital, Mohali.

The cost of consumables and other medicines costing about ₹75,000 are met through contribution by the Rotarians and philanthropists.

So far, the Club has done over 530 such surgeries, including for children from Rwanda, Malawi, Pakistan, Nepal, and Afghanistan.

You can join us by making contribution to the ‘Chandigarh Rotary Club Service Trust’ payable at Chandigarh, India. All contributions are exempt under section 80G of the Income Tax Act.
