Rotary Peace City

Rotary Club of Chandigarh has set up a Rotary Peace Monument at Sukhna Lake.

On 12 December 2003, Rotary International President Jonathan B. Majiyagbe had formally unveiled the monument and handed it over to His Excellency Justice O.P. Verma, the Governor of Panjab and Administrator UT, Chandigarh, after Rotary International had declared Chandigarh as ‘Rotary Peace City’.
